FUNDAMENTAL OF INTERPERSONAL COMMUNICATION

Before we start our lesson, our lecturer Dr. Siti Haslina Hussin or "Ummi" sked all of us to introduce ourself first and tell something about ourself such as where do we lived, ex school, age, why do we choose this strategic communication course, what do we expect from this course and last but not least other than strategic communication what are the first and second course that we choose. More than that, in this topic I learn about is that it is important to have good speaking skills because interpersonal communication is process of exchange of information and a person with strong interpersonal skill tend to build good relationship and can work well with others. How can todays lesson helps me to improve my interpersonal communication is by build my confident level. For example, if we present or communicate with confident the audience might interested in what we're trying to share or give their attention to us. And also communication is necessary, according to Virginia Satir, she's said “Communication is to a relationship what breathing is to maintaining life.” People need to "get" us, that all. We can express our thoughts and feelings to others through communication, as well as present and receive opposing viewpoints. It enables us to connect, helping us to get over our sense of being all alone in the world.
